HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll College track and field teams are headed to Bozeman this weekend to compete in the MSU Open on Saturday at the Bobcat Track and Field Complex.
Carroll will be among NCAA Division-I programs in the field, including Montana State, Idaho State and Montana as well as Montana Western, MSU Billings, Providence and Rocky Mountain College.
The Saints previously qualified four men for nationals. Freshman
Noah Majerus earned the NAIA A-Standard in the 800 with his 1:52.39 time posted at the Montana Open last weekend. Senior
Keaton Brady holds the NAIA B-Standard in the pole vault with his mark of 4.65 meters, also set last weekend. Freshman
Shamrock Campbell is qualified in the triple jump with his mark of 14.31 meters. And sophomore
Garrett Kocab surpassed the NAIA A-Standard in the discus with a toss of 49.15 meters.
Many others are expected to be qualified or in the mix this weekend.
The meet begins at 10:30 a.m.
