HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll College Fighting Saints men's basketball team will head into the postseason with the No. 9 rank in the NAIA, after the latest coaches' poll was released on Tuesday.

Carroll (24-6) moved from No. 7 to No. 9, despite closing out a third consecutive Frontier Conference championship while missing senior starter Matt Wyman.

The Saints split the regular season championship with Lewis-Clark State College, but earned the No. 1-seed in the playoffs after winning the regular season series 2-1 against the Warriors. The Saints have a bye in the quarterfinals and will host the lowest remaining seed in the semifinals on Saturday.
