HELENA, Mont. -- The No. 8 Carroll College Fighting Saints pushed their winning streak to five games and for her efforts senior forward Hannah Dean was named the Frontier Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

It's the third time Dean has earned the award this season.

Dean added to her lengthy Saints résumé this weekend by helping the Saints to victories over MSU-Northern, 58-45, and over No. 23 Providence 77-47. She averaged 18 points, eight rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game in the victories. She also spearheaded the Saints' defense that posted its strongest effort of the season over a two-game stretch.

Dean currently leads the Saints in scoring (14.8), rebounding (7.3), assists (3), steals (2) and blocks (1) per game.

The Saints have locked up the No. 2 spot in the Frontier Conference, assuring a home postseason game. The Saints are still in the running to grab the No. 1 spot in the Frontier Conference, too.

Carroll travels to Butte to face Montana Tech on Thursday before concluding the regular season against Rocky Mountain College in the PE Center on Saturday.
