HELENA, Mont. -- For the fifth consecutive poll, the Carroll College Fighting Saints women's basketball team is ranked No. 8 after the NAIA released its latest Top 25 Coaches Poll on Tuesday.
Carroll posted a 3-1 record over the past two weeks, all of which were road games. Carroll capped off the road stretch with arguably the most difficult pair of games in the Frontier Conference this season. The Saints defeated No. 3 Montana Western in Dillon and followed that up with a win over No. 17 Lewis-Clark State in Lewiston, Idaho.
The Saints have been ranked No. 8 since Dec. 4, and have been ranked in the Top 10 all season.
The Saints (18-7, 10-4 Frontier Conference) currently hold the No. 2 spot in conference with four games left to play. Carroll returns to the PE Center this week with games against Montana State-Northern on Thursday and against 23 Providence on Saturday.
