Carroll Softball Hosts OIT in Helena Sunday, Monday

HELENA, Mont. - Carroll College Softball hosts No. 24 Oregon Tech in a three-game Cascade Conference series at the Capital High School field in Helena.

Sunday's games are slated for 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., Monday's game is scheduled for 11 a.m.

The game was moved to Missoula, but improved field conditions in Helena allowed for the game to be played in Helena.

The Saints enter the weekend with a 19-11 record and a 6-6 mark in Cascade Conference play. They host an OIT team that is 24-7 overall and 12-3.

Ten Carroll players have a batting average over .300 led by Jaylin Kenney with a .368 average. Nine players have double digit RBIs, led by Allison Williams with 18.

In the circle, Tess Eaton is undefeated with an 8-0 record and a Cascade-best 1.53 ERA. Williams has an 8-6 record with a 2.57 ERA.

Oregon Tech has the deepest pitching staff in the conference with three pitchers in the top 10 in ERA.

Kelly Scott is 10-4 with a 1.89 ERA, Sarah Abramson is 9-2 with a 2.12 ERA and Loryn Williams is 4-1 with a 2.18 ERA.

Ten Oregon Tech Players have a batting average over .300. Ali Graham leads the way with a .451 ERA and 27 RBIs.
