SURPRISE, Ariz. – Allison Bayer hit a pair of home runs and the Carroll College softball team moved to 9-4 on the year after picking up a pair of dominant road wins over first-year program Ottawa Arizona.

Williams, Bayer and Mooney all tallied multiple hits. Williams and Mooney had a pair of RBIs each.
In the second game,

The Saints started the game with a huge first inning.
Jaylin Kenney singled to lead off for Carroll before
Anna ApRoberts followed that up with a single of her own. With two on and no outs in the top of the first, Bayer came to the plate and sent her first pitch over the centerfield fence for a three-run home run.

In the bottom of the first, OUAZ picked up their only run in the two games on a two-out double to score the runner from first, but that is the only offense that Ottawa would conjure in the second game.

Carroll added another three-run home run from Bayer in the top of the fourth to highlight a four-run inning which put the Saints up 10-1. Carroll added another run on a sac-fly from
