HELENA. Mont. – Carroll College softball travels west to play two series in Oregon, started first with Northwest Christian in Eugene on Monday and Tuesday before playing Eastern Oregon in La Grande on Thursday and Friday.
 
The Saints enter the week with a 14-8 record and a 2-4 mark in Cascade Conference play. Every single conference series for the Saints has been moved so far, including both series on the docket this week.
 
Carroll is led by Tess Eaton in the circle with a 6-0 record and a 1.71 ERA. Allison Williams is 6-4 on the season in the No. 1 pitcher spot with a 2.95 ERA.
 
The Saints have 10 batters that are hitting .300 or better, led by Natalie Gaber with a .386 average and a team-high 15 RBIS. Five other hitters have double digit RBIs.
 
Carroll opens the week against a Northwest Christian team that is 4-20 overall and 2-7 in Cascade play. Alyssa Gayle has a team-high record of 2-6 with a 7.25 ERA. As a team, the Beacons have a 7.49 ERA and have given up 201 runs on the season.
 
Offensively, five batters hit .300 or better, led by Gayle with a .343 batting average and 22 RBIs.
 
The Saints and Beacons are slated for doubleheaders at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
 
Thursday, Carroll takes the field against EOU. The Mountaineers are 14-8 overall and 9-2 in Cascade play. They have won 10 straight games.
 
The Mounties are strong on the defensive end and Hailey Kline leads the way with a 7-2 record and a 2.19 ERA.
 
Offensively, three players hit better than .300 with Chelsea Spanier on top with a .429 batting average and 20 RBIs.
 
The games are scheduled for 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
