HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll College volleyball team fell 3-1 to Montana Tech on Wednesday evening in Butte.
Carroll fell 25-22, 24-26, 14-25 and 13-25.
The Saints won a tightly contested first set, but couldn't muster the same moxie in the second set.
After that, things unraveled for the Purple and Gold.
Ali Williams led the Saints in kills with 11, as
Rayna Pilgeram had 27 assists to lead the offense.
The Saints committed 35 errors to give Tech unearned points.
The hitting was also off for the Saints on Wednesday. As a team, they hit just 0.012 percent.
Carroll has two days off before traveling to Lewiston, Idaho, for the regular season finale against Lewis-Clark State College.
