Frontier Conference Freshman of the Year... Key part of the Saints' offense this season... She hit .136 and was second on the team with 2.23 kills per game...
HIGH SCHOOL
Mikkelsen is a three-sport athlete from Lakeside High School, just west of Spokane. She led Lakeside to the Washington state championship in 2016 and was a two-time Class 1A all-state honoree and earned league MVP honors in both 2016 and 2017. She was named first-team all-league in 2015. She was also a team captain for the 2016 and 2017 seasons. She played club with Splash U18. She also played basketball and golf. She carried a 3.91 GPA and is a four-year first-team all-league academic honoree. She is currently the Associated Student Body President and was one of 17 student ambassadors in the entire state of Washington on the WIAA LEAP Committee.
