Helena, Mont. - The Carroll men's soccer team hits the road to the greater Seattle are this weekend to face Northwest Friday at 1:30 p.m. and The Evergreen State College Saturday at 1 p.m.
The Saints are entering the weekend with a 5-5-1 (4-4-1) overall record and are ranked No. 8 in the conference after the latest standings update. Northwest is ranked No. 10 and Evergreen barely edged out Carroll in the No. 7 spot.
Carroll will continue to lean on the performance of senior
Jose Porras, who has either scored or assisted the Saints' last four goals through the last three games.
The defense will need to keep Evergreen's Emilio Meraz-Rodriguez in check as he leads the Cascade Collegiate Conference in total points with eight goals and nine assists.
Jordan Travis will also be one to keep track of on Friday's game against Northwest. He is tied with Porras for the second most shots on goal per game in the conference with 1.64 and 18 overall.
