HELENA, Mont. – The 13th-ranked Carroll College men's basketball team travels to Billings to take on a dangerous Rocky Mountain team in the lone game of the week for the Saints.
The Bears are 3-1 in their last four games, including an 81-74 win over No. 5 Lewis-Clark State last Thursday in Billings.
The Saints are 4-1 in their last five games, they started that stretch with a 92-86 win over the Bears in Helena.
The teams boast two of the top scorers in the conference in Carroll's
Zach Taylor and Rocky Mountain's Rob Nyby. Taylor paces the Saints offense at 17.63 points per game and Nyby leads the Frontier at 20.46 PPG.
Nyby showed what he can do against the Saints in the final 90 seconds of the first match up. He rattled off 13 points in the final minute and a half but the Saints closed with strong free throw shooting to earn the win.
Carroll sits in first place in the conference at 9-2 in Frontier play while Rocky is fourth at 5-5.
The teams are slated to tip off at 7:30 p.m.
