HELENA, Mont. – Carroll College men's basketball team hosts a pair of North Star Athletic Conference teams in Dickinson State Friday and Jamestown Saturday at the PE Center.
The Saints are 5-0 and off to their best start since the 2009-10 season. They have been impressive over the first five games, last weekend, the Saints outscored their opponents 239-146 in just two games, racking up a school record 140 points in a win over Salish Kootenai College.
Ryan Imhoff leads the Saints averaging 21 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.
Zach Taylor is averaging a team-high 4.0 assists, 3.8 steals and 1.8 blocks per game. Taylor,

Dane Warp all average in double figures for the Saints.
Carroll as a team is averaging 96.4 points per game while giving up just 70.60 points per game.
The Saints open the weekend with the 3-2 Bluehawks. DSU has back-to-back wins over Frontier schools Montana Tech and Rocky Mountain.
"Dickinson State is a tough squad which is currently 2-0 against Frontier teams," head coach Carson Cunningham said. "They scored 88 on Rocky Mountain in a win and held Montana Tech to 49 in another victory. We need to come ready to play."
Marcus White leads Dickinson with 16.0 points and 8.0 rebounds. Dontae Clark and Terrell Butler both score over 10 points per game.
Saturday, Jamestown will face Carroll. The Jimmies are 1-3 on the year with the lone win coming in a 108-76 blowout of Providence University College (Manitoba).
"Jamestown is a team that has also shown it can put the ball in the basket," Cunningham said. "They have a penchant for threes. Both games should be fun challenges."
The Jimmies average 10.3 3-pointers per game as a team, which ranks in the top-25 in NAIA DII. Jake Hagler leads Jamestown with 15.75 points per game. Four other JU players average double figures in scoring.
The games are the final home games for the Saints until the conference home opener on Dec. 7 against Montana Western. Cunningham hopes to see another excited crowds like the ones packed the PE Center last weekend.
"It's exciting to have another set of home games in front of our fans," Cunningham said. "They came strong last weekend and we're hoping they'll bring the energy again starting Friday night."
The Saints will also host neutral site games between the University of Great Falls and the two North Dakota schools. UGF will play Jamestown Friday at 5:30 and Dickinson Saturday at 5:30. Carroll's games will be at 7:30 p.m. on both evenings.
