BILLINGS, Mont. - The Carroll College men's soccer team fell 3-2 to the University of Mary (N.D.) in a neutral, exhibition match Sunday afternoon at Yellowjacket Field in Billings.
Mary scored three goals in under six minutes, including two from Migel Bartolo, to take a 3-0 lead in the 23rd minute but didn't score for the rest of the game.
Terry Cox got the Saints on the board with a header off of a
Jonathan Taylor free kick in the 31st minute and
Jose Porras scored in the 54th minute with an unassisted goal but it wasn't enough to earn the win.
The Saints open Cascade Conference play Friday against Northwest Christian at Nelson Stadium at 4 p.m. following the women's game against NCU.
