HELENA, Mont. – Carroll College Women's volleyball swept MSU Northern 25-21, 25-17, 25-21 Saturday night to move to 8-2 in Frontier Conference play and into a tie with Rocky Mountain for first place with two conference matches to play.
Emily Sullivan and
Paige Montgomery tallied 10 kills each and
Jonni Dorr had 20 assists to lead the Carroll attack.
Rebecca Sweeney tallied a match-high 17 digs to help hold MSU-Northern to a .196 hitting percentage while the Saints hit .252.
Carroll's win, combined with a loss from No. 4 Rocky Mountain Rocky Mountain to Montana Western, moves the Saints into tie for the top spot in the Frontier.
Carroll closes out with the toughest road trip of the season playing third-place Lewis-Clark Thursday before heading east to close the regular season at Rocky Mountain Saturday.
