Helena, Mont. – The Carroll College men's soccer team fell 4-1 to No. 15 Rocky Mountain at home Saturday in Cascade Conference match.
The Saints jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on a goal from
James Lamont in just the second minute of the match, a header on a corner kick.
Rocky Mountain answered in the 10th minute and added two quick goals in the 23rd and 26th minute to take control of the match.
The Bears added a goal in the 65th minute to push the advantage to 4-1 and earn the win.
The Saints record goes to 5-4-1 on the season and 3-2-1 in Cascade Conference action.
The Saints look to rebound on Wednesday, Oct. 7th against non-conference opponent Trinity Lutheran College. The match begins at 4 p.m. at Nelson Stadium.
