HELENA, Mont. – Carroll college soccer opens a two-match starting road trip Friday against Southern Oregon in Ashland before heading to face Oregon Tech in Klamath Falls Saturday.

The Carroll women lead the Cascade in points with a 7-1-1 conference record and close out the conference season on this trip. The College of Idaho is second at 7-1 but have two road games and a makeup game with the University of Great Falls that they play in Hermiston, Ore.

Southern Oregon is 6-3 in Cascade play and is tied for second with the Saints for goals scored during conference play. They are also fourth for goals allowed in conference. Carroll leads that category.

Oregon Tech is 3-6 in Cascade play and has given up 15 goals in nine cascade conference games this season.
The Owls are eighth in the conference for goals scored.

The SOU men are in their first year as a program, something the saints can relate to but SOU has a respectable 5-6 record in Cascade play.

The Raiders score 1.82 goals per game but are near the bottom of the conference in goals allowed at the same percent.

Oregon Tech sits just behind the Raiders in the Cascade standings at 4-7 the Owls are12th in the Cascade for goals allowed and in the middle of the pack for goals scored at eighth.

The Carroll men are coming off a huge 2-0 weekend which was highlighted by the sweep of Cascade Player of the week honors with Conor Smith pulling in defensive player of the week honors and Jacob Groh snagging offensive honors.

Friday's men's match starts at 4 p.m. and the women follow at 7:30 p.m. both will be played at Raider Stadium.

Saturday, the men start at 4:30 p.m. and the women play at 7 p.m.  at Trevor Derrah Field.
