HELENA, Mont. – Carroll College Volleyball fell to No. 6 Rocky Mountain 25-22, 25-17, 23-25, 25-21 Saturday afternoon in a battle of the Frontier Conference unbeatens.
The Saints were led by led by
Paige Montgomery with 17 kills, Emily Sullvan and
Holly Morehouse had 12 kills each for the Saints.
Jonni Dorr tallied 32 assists to pace the Carroll attack and
Rebecca Sweeney had 26 Digs.
The Saints had a .144 hitting percentage compared to a .220 for the Bears.
Carroll led in three of the four games but the Bears earned the wins.
The match first home loss since Aug. 28, and the Saints are now 7-3 at the PE Center.
The Saints next travel to face Montana Tech on Oct. 23 in Butte.
