HIGH SCHOOL
Mitchell is a three-sport athlete from Lakeside High School, west of Spokane. She earned four letters in soccer, two in basketball and will be a four-year letterman in track and field. She scored 14 goals and added 11 assists in 2016. She helped lead Lakeside to a fourth-place finish in the WIAA State IA tournament. She was named first team all-league in 2014 and 15. She was named the team MVP and the captain for her senior season. On the track, she earned all-league honors in the 2015 and 2016. She is the school record holder for the 400-meter dash.
