Gerry Scheetz is entering his seventh season as an assistant women’s soccer coach for Carroll College.
Besides coaching at Carroll, Gerry has coached over 25 teams and 300 players for the local Helena Arsenal, YMCA, and Vigilante youth soccer programs. During that time, three teams, including last year’s Arsenal U16 girls, have won the state tournament and one earned the right to play at the Far West Regional tournament. Gerry has a NSCAA National Diploma and a USSF National D License.
Gerry is a member of the Montana Youth Soccer Association board as the Director of Development. There he assists clubs throughout the state of Montana with their recreational soccer programs.
Gerry, a native of Montana, grew up in Bridger, MT. He met Stacy, his wife of 17 years, while earning a Computer Science degree from Montana Tech. In addition to coaching, Gerry works as a software engineer for a local technology company.
Coach’s Comments: “Gerry heads into his seventh season with the Saints and has donated his time to our program while asking for nothing in exchange. Gerry continues to learn the college game and is a big help to both me and the team.”
