HIGH SCHOOL
Maddie Geritz, a 6-foot-1 forward from Boise, Idaho, averaged 10 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals in high school. She led Borah High to three state tournament appearances and was named all-Conference four times and four times was named to the conference academic team. She was also selected to play in the 5A SIC All-Star game She is a proven inside player, but what makes her a matchup problem for defenders is her versatility “Maddie is a forward that will really extend the defense,” Sayers said. “She is a great 3-point shooter and will be another great passer and rebounder for us. I am really excited about her future here at Carroll, she has been committed to us for two years, so we have been waiting for a long time to see her in a Saints uniform.”
