Biography
Last Year: Bailey averaged per game 2.45 rebounds, 2.39 assists (team high), 1.10 steals, and 9.10 points. She had game highs of 19 points versus Montana Western, 5 rebounds versus University of Regina (Saskatchewan, CAN) and versus Rocky Mountain, and 7 assists versus Western Washington and Montana Western.
High School: Bailey had one of the most successful high school careers in the history of Montana girls basketball. She was a four-year starter for the Engineers and her team went 99-7 throughout her career. She averaged 23.7 points a game her senior year and scored over 2,000 points in her career. She is also the state of Montana record holder for 3-pointers made in a career with 295.
Last Season: Bailey was team’s leading scorer in conference and averaged 7.7 points per game for the year. She lead team in 3 pointers made (42), field goal percentage (43%), and makes per game. She shot 77% from the free throw line and dished out 49 assists on the year. Bailey had career highs of 25 and 30 points versus the University of Montana-Western.
Coach’s Comments: "Bailey Snelling had some really big games for us last year, she has been the Western "killer" for 2 straight years now. Now Bailey has to step in as the #1 guard option so her ability to create shots for others as well as get to the rim and finish is going to be critical for us. She has a perfect skill set for the offense that we run and I for see her having an even bigger role as a scorer and playmaker for us this year."
