Prior to Carroll - McKaila Balcom will join the Fighting Saints on the court this fall. Balcom is a 5-10 Right Side from Tri-Cities, Wash. where she attended Tri-Cities Prep. Balcom, a multi-sport standout athlete in high school, joins the Carroll roster after an impressive prep career. She was named a First Team All-Conference selection in her sophomore and junior seasons, while picking up an Honorable Mention All-State nod in her junior year. In her senior season Balcom was named First Team All-State along with garnering team MVP honors. In addition to her recognition on the volleyball court, Balcom was also named an All-Conference and All-State performer as a member of the Tri-Cities Prep basketball team. Balcom is just as impressive in the classroom as on the court, she graduated with a 3.97 GPA and was a recipient of her school's Presidential Award all four years. Balcom will join the Pre-Med track at Carroll.
