Biography
Rock-star student Jake Hollifield is entering his senior season with the Saints. He's helped guide Carroll College from a two-win season his freshman year to an eighteen-win team as a junior, a campaign during which he averaged 25 minutes a game and 5pts & 5rebs. He's a super-versatile defender and has been key in helping Carroll College improve its defense dramatically over the past couple of seasons.
Jake was a three-sport athlete for the Jerome High School Tigers. He was a three-time All-Conference post, averaging 14.6 points and 9 rebounds a game during his senior campaign. Jake was named the 3A/4A Idaho player of the year as well as All-State and All-Magic Valley Honoree.
As a sophomore, Jake was voted team captain and found the starting lineup 24 times. That year, he averaged 8.7 points and nearly 7 boards, which included an impressive 67 total offensive rebounds.
Coach’s Comments: “Jake is Farm Strong. He can run like a deer and grapple like a bear. That’s a nice combination for us!"
