Muhammad is a six-foot combo guard, originally from Arden Hills, Minn. He will be a junior in standing, with multiple seasons of eligibility remaining when he joins the squad at the end of the month.

As a prep star, Muhammad was named First Team All-Conference in both his junior and senior seasons, after proving himself as a potent scorer. In his junior season, Muhammad averaged 15 points per game, as well as four rebounds and assists per game. He improved upon that as a senior, en route to a Conference Most Valuable Player award after averaging 20 points per contest, six rebounds and four assists.
 
Last season at Williston State, Muhammad earned Second Team All-Conference honors after another highly productive season. He averaged 17.6 points per game, five rebounds per game, four assists per game, and nearly three steals per game.
