Biography

Patrick Colberg is entering his senior season as a Fighting Saint. As a sophomore and freshman, Patrick battled through some nagging injuries but managed to make some big threes and deliver some huge minutes for the Fighting Saints. 

Patrick joined the Fighting Saints after a stellar high school career under Carroll great Jeff Hays at Missoula Hellgate. Patrick started in back-to-back state championship games, winning the title in an overtime thriller his junior year. Patrick was 4th in the state his senior season in both blocks per game (1.33) and field goal percentage (60%). Patrick finishing 2nd in Montana in golf his senior year.

Coach's Comments: "The young man is a sharp-shooter and given his 6-8 frame, watching him sling it can bring to mind thoughts of Montana native Will Kane, a lanky Old West sharp-shooter portrayed by Helena's own Gary Cooper in High Noon. That is what separates Patrick from other bigs, his ability to shoot the apple."
