Biography
Prior to Carroll: A two-year starter for the Rustlers, Ormond has been one of the most efficient shooters in NJCAA Region IX. This past season, he averaged 12.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while knocking down 42.7 percent of his three-point attempts and a remarkable 89.5 percent from the free-throw line. Over his two-year career at Central Wyoming, Ormond shot 44 percent from beyond the arc and better than 86 percent from the stripe, highlighted by a 30-point outburst against Otero College this past November. A season-ending thumb injury cut short a promising sophomore career for the Georgia native but his early season success highlights what can be expected from a healthy Ormond.
