Scott Menzies is undertaking his second season season as an assistant men's hoops coach at Carroll College. During his first season, 2016-17, the Fighting Saints turned in one of the school's best basketball season's in history, finishing 29-6 en route to winning the Frontier Conference's regular season and tournament championships and qualifying for the NAIA National Tournament's Final Eight. The team led the nation in FT% and Effective FG%. 

Menzies is a Helena native who grew up watching Carroll Saints basketball.  He graduated from Helena High School where he played basketball, soccer, and tennis.  Scott recently graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in exercise science.  Last season he assisted former Saints player Jeff Hays coaching the Missoula Hellgate High School basketball team to a first place finish in the Class AA Western Conference and to third place at the state tournament.  In addition to coaching, Scott works as a rehabilitation technician at a local physical therapy and sports rehabilitation office.
