Hasani joined the Carroll coaching staff prior to the 2017-18 season after serving time in the US Army and coaching boys middle school basketball and youth soccer.
He grew up in North Carolina where he played basketball, baseball, football, and ran track. During his senior year he moved to Connecticut where he became the sixth man. After high school, he joined the army where he discovered the true definition of teamwork.
Hasani is married to former Carroll volleyball player Alissa Abentroth who is now a surgeon. The couple has two children.
