Quote from Coach Van Diest: “Ty is another great special teams player. He has added some weight and will play the outside linebacker position for us this year along with Adam DeBruycker and Graham Bogumill.” 

2014: Moved to linebacker... appeared in all 12 games on special teams and also saw time at linebacker... had 10 total tackles including a season-high four against College of Idaho... named Academic All-Conference.

2013: Moved to safety... contributed on scout team.

2012: Redshirted and contributed on scout team.

High School: Ty was a three time letter winner at Ferris High School in Spokane, Washington... part of two state championship teams and conference champion teams in 2010 and 2011... received Academic All-State Honoree.

Personal: Parents are Kelly and Colleen Irving of Spokane, Wash.
