High School: In 2015, Trefney was named First-Team All-State and offensive MVP of the Western "AA" Division... He rushed for 1,654 yards and 23 touchdowns... As a junior, Trefney helped Glacier to the State "AA" championship where he rushed for 201 yards and four touchdowns... During his junior year Trefney rushed for 1,132 yards and scored a state record of 29 touchdowns... In his career, he tallied 3,162 all-purpose yards and set a Montana All-Class Record for scoring 52 touchdowns... He has been selected to play in both the East/West Shrine Game and the Badlands All-Star Game... Trefney was named team captain and offensive MVP this past season for the Wolfpack... He carries a 3.2 GPA and is also a letter winner in track.
