Quote from Coach Van Diest: “Taylor adds a lot of depth to the cornerback position in the secondary. He played quite a bit last year on special teams and we look for him to be a great special teams player in the fall.”

2014: Appeared in four games as a defensive back and on special teams… recorded nine total tackles and a pass breakup… had a season high four tackles against Eastern Oregon… named a NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Conference.

2013: Contributed on scout team.

2012: Redshirted and contributed on scout team.

High School: At Helena High School, Taylor was a three-year letterman in football and a two-time All-Conference selection at quarterback... holds four school passing records... earned Academic All-State three years... member of the National Honor Society... graduated with a 3.9 GPA.

Personal: Parents are Gary South of Helena, Mont. and Cathy South of East Helena, Mont.
