Biography

Quote from Coach Van Diest: “Ryan has to get a little bit stronger over the summer months in order to help us in the fall. He certainly has gotten better at the defensive tackle position. We have played him at defensive end and defensive tackle. He might be more comfortable at the defensive tackle positon where he can provide depth that we need inside.”

2014: Contributed on scout team... named an NAIA Scholar Athlete and to the Academic All-Conference team.

2013: Contributed on scout team.

2012: Redshirted and contributed on scout team.

High School: Ryan was on the Honor Roll for four years at Juan Diego Catholic High School... named First Team All-State and First-team All-Region in 2011... two-way starter in football where he earned two varsity letters... also lettered two years in lacrosse.

Personal: Parents are Patrick and Erin McCauley of Herriman, Utah.
