Soto comes to Carroll College from Feather River College in Quincy, California Soto was a two-year standout at safety for the Golden Eagles. Prior to Feather River, Soto was an all-conference defensive back at Kapaa HS. Nainoa is the son of Gayleen Palama and Mark Soto. He has one sister (Lehela). He plans to pursue a degree in public health.
