Peed was a team captain, all-league offensive lineman and three-year letter winner at Lakeland. Peed is a varsity track performer who made the state meet in discus. Off the field, Max is the son of Julie and Jerry Peed. He has two sisters (Erin and Claire) and two brothers (Charlie and Jack). He plans on pursuing a degree in biology.
