High School: 
Matt was a First Team All-Conference and All-State cornerback and led the state in interceptions with eight. He was named to the Super State team and selected to play in the Mon/Dak and Shrine games. He earned Academic All-State three years while at Capital High School and graduated with a 3.85 GPA.
