High School:
Malachi was an All-Conference player for three years at Powder River H.S. In 2012 he was named Second Team All-Conference as a running back and First Team All-Conference as a punter. He was selected to play in the State Class B All-Star Game in Billings and in the Down Under Bowl. He lettered four years in track and has lettered in basketball and wrestling. He has been academic All-State each of his four years in high school and had a 3.8 GPA.
