Jensen was an all-conference performer at wide receiver at Butte Central. Jensen earned four varsity letters in football, baseball and track while in high school. Off the field, Luke has been a four-year academic all-state performer, a member of the National Honors Society, and a part of the Bishop Thomas Scholars Academy.
