Prior to Carroll - Douglas was a team captain, four-year varsity letter winner, two-time all-league, and two-time offensive player of the year for Puyallup HS. He was an all-area selection and made four state playoff appearances. He was a four-year varsity letter and three-time all-state sprinter in track & field. Off the field, Douglas was a three-time Gold Presidential Award winner. Kyson is the son of Stephanie Travis and Andre Douglas and has two sisters (Mikayla, Arianna) and three brothers (Christian, Izack, Corian). He plans to pursue a degree in English for Secondary Education.
