"If Jared can gain some strength, he will have an opportunity to advance to the two-deep chart this fall. He improved tremendously as a pass rusher this spring. We look forward to him stepping up physically vs. the run."

Scout team player during the 2013 season.

High School:
Jared was selected to the Honor Roll. He was First Team All-State as a defensive lineman in the Salt Lake Tribune and First Team All-State as an offensive lineman in the Desert News. First Team All-Region and was voted team captain his senior season. Was a two-year starter in football and earned three varsity letters as well as a letter in lacrosse.
