High School: Jake was a three-year letterman at Richland High School... rushed for 1,778 yards while scoring 24 touchdowns in 2010... career totals of 3,473 yards and 41 rushing touchdowns... broke eight out of ten offensive records... unanimous First-Team All-Conference Running Back in 2009 and 2010... Second-Team All-Purpose Back and Player of the Year and Tri-City Herald All Area First Team Running Back... named team’s MVP in 2010... All-State in track and lettered all four years... four-year Honor Roll student with a 3.89 GPA... received the Elite Fleet Academic Excellence Award.
