Quote from Coach Van Diest: “David was a transfer from Linfield College in Oregon. He will provide depth at the defensive tackle positon.”

2014: Appeared in one game for Linfield College recording one tackle... transfered to Carroll after the season.

High School: David helped lead Jesuit High School to the state  semifinals in 2011 and 2012, finishing as state runners-up in 2013... named Most Valuable Lineman on his team... was a two-way starter... earned second-team all-state honors as a defensive lineman and second-team all-Metro League recognition as an offensive lineman.

Personal: Parents are Tom and Nancy Brugato of Tigard, Oreg.
