2014: Contributed on scout team... named Academic All-Conference

2013: Redshirted and contributed on scout team.

High School: Welhaven was named First Team All-Conference and First Team All-State at linebacker for Billings Central Catholic High School... led his team with 137 tackles as Central won the Class A State Championship in 2012... named captain in 2012 and was his team's defensive MVP in 2011 and 2012... played in the Mon/Dak Game this summer and also in the East-West Shrine Game... state qualifier in wrestling in 2012 and 2013... member of the National Honor Society... graduated with a 4.0 GPA.
