Broderick Thomas was hired in the spring of 2025 , Joining the Carroll College Staff as the Cornerbacks Coach

Thomas joins the Carroll staff after a two year stint as the cornerbacks coach at Rocky Mountain College . As a cornerbacks coach at Rocky, Thomas was instrumental in the development a two-time All-American Cornerback and a one-time All-American Punt Returner

Thomas began his coaching career in 2020 at Columbia High School (Texas) as the varsity secondary coach . Thomas is an alumnus of Columbia High School, in a small town South of Houston.

Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Thomas was a three-year starter on the University of Alabama-Birmingham football team, playing under Bill Clark. He was named C-USA Newcomer of the Year, and was an Honorable Mention C-USA All-conference selection in 2017 after finishing second on the team with 95 tackles. After his time at UAB, Thomas Went on to the professional ranks, having spent time with both the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos.
