Bio:A Quote From Coach Van Diest: 
“Jared had a breakout season for the Saints in 2013. He is one of the most gifted athletes on our football team. He is without a doubt the top return man in the nation. He is a threat to go all the way at any time in the return game or at wide receiver. We look for Jared to have an even better senior season."
Highlights:Last Season:
Had 27 receptions for 270 yards and two touchdowns. Jared was third on the team with 1,058 all-purpose yards (88.2/game) and had two return touchdowns. Mayernik was selected First Team All-Conference as a return man.

Sophomore: 
Jared was a started at the wide receiver position. He had 18 receptions for 349 yards and five touchdowns. He also had an excellent season as a returner.

High School: 
Four year letter winner in track and three in football and basketball. First Team All-Conference in football three years and First Team All-State, junior and senior years as a QB/DB. Selected as a Captain in both football and basketball. One of the top triple jumpers in the state.
