Quote from Coach Van Diest: “Nate has started at tight end the last two years, and will continue to play there at times. We have moved him to defensive end to see if he can help us out there. He adds toughness to that side of the ball. We look for Nate to have an outstanding year.”

2014: Started all 12 games at tight end.... caught four passes for 38 yards... moved to defensive end in the spring.

2013: Appeared in eight games at tight end... had 11 receptions for 86 yards... season-high 30 recieving yards against Georgetown in the first round of the NAIA Championship Series.

2012: Appeared in all 11 games at tight end... talliedsix receptions for 58 yards... had a season-high three receptions for 46 yards against Portland State.

2011: Redshirted and contributed on scout team.

High School: Hinirchs was a team captain and helped lead Helena High School to the State AA Football Championship game in 2010... earned three letters and received First Team All-Conference and First Team All-State Honors at tight end and participated in the Mon/Dak game in 2010... lettered twice in basketball and twice in track and field.
