2014: Started all 12 games at linebacker… had 65 total tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss… recovered three fumbles and deflected four passes… season-high 10 tackles at home against Rocky Mountain… recorded an interception against Valley City State in the first round of the NAIA Championship Series… named Academic All-Conference.

2013: Dawson was third on the team in tackles with 71 along with 4.5 sacks. He started all 14 games last year.

2012: Appeared in nine games at linebacker totaling 16 tackles.

2011: Redshirted and contributed on scout team.

High School: Dawson help lead Sheridan High football team to the State 4A Championship game while winning the state title in 2009... selected as Defensive Player of the Year and 4A East Defensive Player of the Year in 2009... named First-Team All Conference and First Team All-State Linebacker and made the Super 25 First Selection in 2010... Honor Roll with a 3.95 GPA... AP Scholar with Distinction and recognized as a Presidential Scholar.
