Bio:A Quote From Coach Van Diest: 
“Shayne had an outstanding spring. We look forward to him being a top flight player in our defense this fall. He has outstanding speed and is a very physical presence in the middle of our defense."
Highlights:Last Season:
Part-time starter at inside linebacker. Fifty total tackles. Played in all 14 games. Three sacks, one interception for a touchdown. All-Academic Frontier Conference.

As a sophomore:
Shayne was a part time starter at the middle linebacker position in 2012. He finished with 35 total tackles.

High School: 
Shayne was team captain, All-State Fullback, First Team All-Conference Fullback, First Team All-Conference Defensive End, and Second Team All-Conference punter at Fergus County High School.
He was a three-year letterman in basketball, four-year letterman in football, and was recognized with All-State Honors in track and field. Shayne was on the Honor Roll with a 3.8 GPA. He also earned Academic All-State and was a member of the National Honor Society. Shayne was a member of the Rotary Club and received the Kiwanis Team Leadership Award the past two years.
