2018-19 Women's Basketball Roster
Biography
Senior guard Brittney Johnson looks to remain a steady force for the Saints in 2018-19. Her tenacious defense and three-point shooting will once again be a pillar of the Saints' success.
"Britt is coming off a career season," Saints coach Rachelle Sayers said. "She was one of most consistent three-point shooters last season as well as our defensive stopper. She is working her way back into shape after summer back surgery but I expect her to have an even more impactful season this year, both from a leadership standpoint and a perimeter scorer."
As a junior, she averaged 6.2 ppg and 4.6 rpg. She shot 37 percent from the field, 38 percent from the three-point line and 74 percent from the foul line. Â
Â
She scored a career-high 20 points against Montana Western on the back of five made three pointers. She was named to the Academic All-Conference team last season. She took a redshirt in 2014-15.
Â
Johnson comes as a graduate of Ferris High School in Spokane, Washington where she averaged 14.3 points, 5 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.8 steals per game for Ferris High School. She was a four-year letterwinner and a team captain from 2012-2014. She was named team's offensive and defensive MVP in 2012 and 2013. She also lettered one year in soccer.
