Biography

Quote from Coach Van Diest: "Dave has been our number one deep snapper the past two years. He continues to improve and improved so much during spring football. We look for Dave to be an outstanding player in the defensive line. We need him for depth so he needs to keep improving and he needs to step up and be the 2 deep when fall camp rolls around."

2015: Appeared in five games... had 3 solo tackles.

2014: Appeared in all 12 games at long snapper... no stats recorded... named Academic All-Conference.

2013: Redshirted and contributed on scout team.

High School: David was First-Team All-Conference and league defensive MVP in the Columbia River Conference in 2012... named Eastern Oregon player of the year in 2012...was All-State in the discus and javelin... qualified for for the NAIA National Chapionship in Javelin at Carroll College. 

Personal: Parents are Dennis and Cathy Barnett of Hermiston, Oreg. David is majoring in Accounting and Finance.
