Biography

Quote from Coach Van Diest: “Ryan was our all-purpose back last year. He not only led us in rushing yards but receiving yards. Ryan is one of the fastest players on the football team. Ryan came into last football season as the number one pale back and we look forward to him having an even better season than he did last year."

2015: Ryan participated in nine games ... He had a team-high 540 yards rushing and tallied a team-high 37 receptions for 428 yards ... scored six touchdowns for the Saints ... was named Academic All-Conference.

2014: Appeared in two games at wide receiver … he caught two passes for 13 yards … named Academic All-Conference.

2013: Redshirted and was a contributor on scout team.

High School: Ryan earned four letters in football at Wilsonville High School... All-League running back in 2011 and First-Team All-League as a wide receiver and defensive back in 2012... named to the All-State Team as a corner his senior season... earned four letters in track and was All-State in the 100m and the 200m in 2012 and 2013... carried a 3.5 GPA in high school.

Personal: Parents are Joe and Maria Walsh of Wilsonville, Oreg. Ryan is majoring in Business.
